Personal details and practical care
Alongside the main arrangements, many personal details help families and visitors honour a loved one. We take care of each one with practical guidance and quiet dignity.
From structuring an obituary notice to selecting music, floral tributes, condolence books, or traditional wake sets, every detail can be tailored to your family's wishes. We explain every option clearly, without obligation or pressure, so you can choose what feels right.
What we can arrange with you

Funeral Notices & Announcements
Helping you structure and place announcements across chosen channels.
When publishing a funeral notice, different publishers have specific guidelines and formatting requirements. We assist families in carefully wording announcements to express your wishes clearly while meeting publisher standards. The traditional options in Ireland include local radio announcements (such as Highland Radio), RIP.ie (Ireland's dedicated funeral notice website), and social media platforms, which allow extended family and friends near and far to be informed respectfully.

Floral Tributes & Wreaths
Flowers for the service, home, or grave, or charitable donation requests.
Flowers and wreaths are a long-standing gesture of sympathy and respect. Whether for the family home, chapel of rest, church, or grave, we can coordinate floral arrangements through trusted local florists or recommend reputable florists so you can arrange your own. If your family prefers charitable donations in lieu of flowers (such as to a hospital, hospice, or local cause), we will clearly include these instructions in the obituary notice.

Music & Hymns for the Ceremony
Tailored musical selections respecting the tradition and venue.
Music brings comfort and personal memory to a funeral service. We assist in discussing and organizing musical requirements according to the venue's practices. For Roman Catholic Masses, an organist and soloist traditionally lead the music; for Church of Ireland, Presbyterian, and Methodist services, an organist leads congregational hymns. Families may also invite a soloist, piper, or choir, or provide selected recorded music for crematorium or civil services.

Condolence & Guest Books
A physical memorial keepsake for visitors to record their sympathy.
A physical condolence book placed at the wake house, chapel of rest, or church allows attending family, neighbours, and friends to sign their names and leave personal messages. We supply elegant, hardbound condolence books (with options including a gold cross motif) as a lasting keepsake for the family to cherish in the quiet weeks that follow.

Headstones & Inscriptions
Permanent memorials, stone selection, and custom lettering.
When the time comes to choose a permanent memorial, we guide you through the available headstone materials, stone finishes, fonts, and inscription wording. We work alongside skilled local stonemasons to ensure the memorial is crafted to your exact specifications and erected with proper care.

Temporary Solid Oak Grave Markers
Hand-crafted solid oak markers while awaiting a permanent headstone.
Because ground settling and custom stonemasonry require time before a permanent headstone can be installed, we supply temporary solid oak grave markers. Each marker is fitted with a custom engraved brass plaque displaying the deceased person's name and details, providing a dignified place of remembrance in the interim.

Mourning Crosses & Lapel Badges
Distinctive lapel symbols helping visitors identify close family at wakes.
Attending a busy wake or funeral can sometimes make it difficult for visitors to identify immediate family members. Wearing a small mourning cross or badge provides a quiet, respectful distinction so visitors know who to sympathise with. We supply traditional Christian cross motifs, non-denominational Circle of Life motifs (both featuring a central dove), as well as dedicated white lapel crosses for children.

Funeral Home & Wake Sets
Traditional brass crucifixes, candlesticks, and table sets for wakes.
For wakes held at home or in our chapel of rest, we provide traditional brass funeral sets — including polished brass crucifixes, matching altar candlesticks, and candles — creating a reverent, comforting atmosphere for family and visitors gathering to pay their respects.
