Our Services

Arrangements shaped around your family

When someone you love has died, we are here to guide you through every choice — at your pace, and in keeping with your family's wishes and traditions.

Every family is different, and so is every funeral. There is no single way to say goodbye, and no fixed timetable you must follow. We will sit with you, listen to what matters to your family, and explain each step clearly — then carry out your wishes with care and discretion. Please call Shaun at any time to talk through what you need.

01

Traditional funerals & burial

A traditional funeral can be shaped entirely around your family. We will help you decide what feels right — from the removal and the wake, to a church or other ceremony, to the burial itself, and to quiet time at the chapel of rest for family and friends to gather.

Some families keep to familiar local customs; others prefer something a little different. There is no fixed two-night or third-day timetable that every funeral must follow. We will talk through the options and let your family's wishes lead the way, then take care of every practical detail so you can be present with the people who matter.

Cremation

We can help arrange a cremation and the ceremony that accompanies it. A cremation service may be religious, or it may have little or no religious reference at all — the choice is yours. Family and friends may take part in the ceremony, or a civil celebrant may conduct it on your behalf.

Choosing cremation does not mean giving up the elements of a traditional service that matter to you. A removal, a ceremony, music and time together can all form part of a cremation funeral. We will explain what is involved and help you put the pieces together in a way that feels fitting.

03

International repatriation

If someone dies abroad, we can help bring them home to Ireland. If someone dies here and needs to be returned to another country, we can help with that too. We will guide you through the arrangements and the paperwork involved, and liaise with embassies, health authorities and local funeral directors on your behalf.

Repatriation can feel daunting, especially from a distance. We will take on the practical burden — the documentation, the transport, the coordination between countries — and keep you informed at each stage. Please call us so we can understand your situation and talk through what is needed.

Choices & Care

Further choices we can support

Alongside the main arrangements, there are other choices you may wish to consider. We are happy to talk through any of these when you call.

Non-religious & civil ceremonies

A funeral does not need to follow a religious structure. We can arrange a civil or humanist ceremony led by an experienced celebrant, focused entirely on the person's life, their values and the people who mattered to them.

Environmentally friendlier choices

For families who would like a gentler environmental choice, we offer coffin options made from natural materials such as willow. We are happy to talk through the environmentally friendlier choices available and help you find one that feels right.

Our funeral home & chapel of rest

Our funeral home in Roxtown, Tooban is set on a quiet road and includes an office, a coffin room and a chapel of rest. The chapel of rest can welcome both large and small groups, giving family and friends a calm place to gather and remember.

Viewing & embalming

Many families value the opportunity to spend time with the person who has died. We can prepare a private viewing at the chapel of rest. Where it would help, embalming is available — it is always a choice, never a requirement, and we will explain what it involves so you can decide what feels right for your family.

Planning ahead

If you would like to think about arrangements in advance, we can have a private, confidential conversation about your wishes and your budget. There is no obligation, and it can bring real peace of mind to know your preferences are understood. Please call us to talk it through.
